There are a number of grant and financial programs that may be appropriate for businesses looking to expand in Berthoud, or those new to the area. These economic assistance packages vary based on the type of business, the proposed location, and the potential economic impact to the area. Some of the incentives are accessed through standard application and/or fillings, and others are achieved through a negotiation with the specific governmental agency.
Flow Systems moved our business to the Town of Berthoud over 25 years ago, and it has proved to be one of our best decisions. Berthoud has been a great location for our business to grow and attract the technical employees we require. With our strategic location to I-25, the Denver Airport, and some of the local colleges, we have been able to expand our business internationally by 62 percent. The steady growth in our business has required us to expand our current manufacturing facility on three separate occasions. I worked directly with the Town of Berthoud on all three of these expansions and found the Town of Berthoud to be very helpful and eager to help us expand and grow. I feel that Berthoud is a great spot for an established business, as well as a new startup company, as we plan to be here for many more years.
