Overview
The Business Development Department works to enhance the Berthoud economy through the retention and attraction of business to the community. The primary objectives are to expand the primary employment base, increase business investment and secure retail and service opportunities for residents and industries.Goals
- Support the retention and expansion of the existing business
- Attract new primary employers to complement and diversify Berthoud’s employment and retail base
- Act as the business advocate between the town and local industry
- Respond to any general business attraction or business retention & expansion economic development requests
- Provide on-going customized assistance from the town and partnering organizations
